How to Access Intersections AADT

  1. Open your TMC Study in TES.

  2. Navigate to the Intersections AADT tab.

Understanding AADT Data

In this section, you will find the following AADT metrics:

  • Major AADT – The average daily traffic volume on the primary roadway.

  • Minor AADT – The average daily traffic volume on the secondary roadway.

  • Total AADT – The combined daily traffic volume from both roadways.

  • AADT by Approach – Traffic volume data for each direction of travel at the intersection.

  • Source Type – Indicates the method used to calculate the AADT.

Viewing AADT Data for Each Day

  • If your study includes multiple days, you can review daily AADT values.
  • This table displays the AADT for each day , along with the source type used for each calculation.

This feature helps identify daily variations in traffic, ensuring more accurate analysis and planning.
