Speed Statistics

This documentation goes over the speed statistics tab in a study.

1. Access Speed Statistics​

  • Speed Statistics shows speed data collected from the study.

  • There are two data grids, one labelled Summary and the other labelled Details

  • Both data grids have the columns:

    • Approach Type

    • Average

    • Median

    • 85th & 95th Percentile

    • Compliance

    • Posted Speed (of the location)

    • Standard Deviation

    • Maximum Speed and Minimum Speed

    • Pace (the speed bin that had the highest volume) and Pace Percentage (the percentage of total vehicles that were in the pace).

  • The Summary data grid includes a summary of speed data throughout all of the days of the study (i.e. Summary contains the average values for each column throughout all of the days of the study.)

2. The Details Data Grid​

The Details data grid shows the study's speed data

3. Export to Excel​

Both the Summary and Details grids can be exported to Excel:

  • Click on the Excel button .

  • Select either "Export all data to Excel" or "Export selected rows to Excel."
