Imports

This documentation outlines collision file uploading on to TES Cloud.

1. Uploading Collisions

To import collision data, go to the Collision Upload section in the TES File Management System

2. Uploading Collisions

  • From here, you can:

    • Add File : Upload individual files.

    • Add Folder : Upload entire folders.

3. Starting the upload

After selecting your files, click Upload . When the upload is complete, the status bar will confirm "Upload Completed."

4. Importing Data into TES Cloud

  • Navigate to the XML Import section in TES Cloud.

  • Select the appropriate field settings for your data.

5. Importing Data into TES Cloud

Choose an import action (e.g., Merge to combine duplicate collisions or Ignore to skip them).

6. Emails

You can also add email notifications for import status updates.

7. Select Files or Folders for Import

Use the File Chooser to select uploaded files or folders from the TES File Management System. Add them to your basket and proceed with the import.

8. Select Files or Folders for Import

In the File Chooser:

  • Use the + button next to files or folders to add them to your selection.

  • Once your selection is complete, click Next to proceed.

9. Select Files or Folders for Import

In the Basket at the top-right corner, verify the files and folders you’ve selected for import.

  • The basket shows a list of your selected files, allowing you to confirm or remove entries before proceeding.

10. Start Impor

Click the Start button to begin importing the selected files into TES Cloud.

11. Viewing Import logs

Once the import is complete, navigate to the XML Import Logs section to review the status of each imported file.
The logs display:

  • File names

  • Import status (e.g., Success , Failed , Collision Exists in Database , or Exists )

To see more details, click on a specific log entry.

13. Log Details

The Log Details section provides information about the import status:

  • Success : The collision data was successfully imported.

  • Failed : An error occurred during the import process.

  • Collision Exists in Database : TES did not import the collision because it already exists in the database.

  • Exists : The collision data already exists, but TES updates the record with new data if it is different from the existing information.

14. Log Details

If a collision’s status is Success or Exists , click on the log entry to view the detailed collision data.

  • If the status is Failed or Collision Exists in Database , a notification at the bottom of the page will indicate that the collision was not imported.
