Drafts

This documentation explains the Drafts module.

Not all jurisdictions have this module. If your jurisdiction does not include this module, there is no need to follow this tutorial.

1. Access Drafts​

  • The Drafts module is used in your jurisdiction for geocoding and validating newly geocoded collisions.

  • Displays a data grid containing all collisions in your jurisdiction with an additional column for collision status.

2. Status in Drafts​

Status types include:

  • Pending : Default status for all collisions post-geocoding.

  • Approved : Indicates that collisions have been validated.

3. Approved Status​

  • Approved collisions will display a yellow "Info" button under the Status column.

  • Clicking the button opens the detailed view of the collision.

4. Pending Status​

If the status says pending, there will be no information underneath status.

5. To Approve Recent Imported Collisions​

Click on Column Chooser and select Accident Date.

6. Sort By Descending​

Sort the Accident Date column in descending order to display the most recent collisions at the top of the data grid.

7. Select Collisions to Approve​

Check the box beside the collisions you want to approve.

8. Click on the Confirmation Button​

Select the Confirmation button to approve selected collisions.

9. Select Confirmation Level​

Choose between:

  • Client Confirmation : Makes collisions visible to all users in your jurisdiction.

  • Geo Coding Confirmation : Restricts visibility to the geocoding team and administration - meaning the collisions are still not approved to be viewed by everyone in your jurisdiction.
