Roles

This documentation goes over the Roles module.

1. Go to Roles

  • The Roles page displays a data grid with all roles in your jurisdiction.

  • From this page, you can:

    • View roles.

    • Rename or delete roles.

    • Add new roles.

2. Add a Role

Click the Add button to create a new role.

3. Role Name and Description

  • Enter the Name and Description for the role.

  • Click Add to save the new role.

4. Users Tab

Use the Users Tab to:

  • See all users assigned to the role.

  • Assign or unassign users to/from the role.

5. Permissions Tab

  • The Permissions Tab allows you to configure permissions for users with this role.

  • Key actions include:

    • Download, upload, view, and edit files.

    • Configure access to features like Traffic Study , Collision , and more.

  • Works similarly to the Permissions Tab under Users .

6. Field Permissions

  • The Field Permissions Tab lets you configure detailed field-level permissions for users with this role.

  • Actions include granting or denying access to specific fields.

  • Similar functionality as the Field Permissions Tab in Users .
