Module Overview
This documentation goes over the modules and how to access them using the module column.
1. Locate Modules
To access TES features, look at the left-hand side of the interface for the module column. This column lists all the main sections available, such as:

Dashboard

Infrastructure
-
Collision
-
And more
2. Choose a Module

From the module column, click on any section (e.g., Dashboard or Infrastructure ).

Once clicked, the module will expand, revealing the available options under that section.
3. Open a Module
To access specific tools, select the module you need, such as Traffic Operations or Traveller Safety. Clicking on the module will take you directly to its dedicated page.
4. View Module Details
Each module page provides specialized tools, data, and visualizations. For instance:
- The Traveller Safety module includes graphs, maps, and statistics on collision frequencies and high-risk intersections.
5. Dashboard Modules
After selecting Dashboard, you will find options such as:

Traveller Safety

Traffic Operations
These modules are listed for quick and easy access.
6. Infrastructure Modules
Clicking on Infrastructure provides access to:

Intersections
-
Road Segments
-
Streets
-
Site List
These options allow you to manage and analyze infrastructure-related data.
7. Collision Modules
The Collision section includes tools for managing accident-related data. Available modules include:

Collisions
-
People Involved
-
Vehicles
-
Drafts
8. Access People Involved

Click on "Collision" to expand the submenu.

Select "People Involved" from the options.
This section allows you to view and manage data related to individuals involved in incidents.
9. People Involved Overview
The "People Involved" module includes the following categories:

People : General information about individuals.
-
Drivers : Data related to vehicle operators.
-
Passengers : Details about passengers in vehicles.
-
Pedestrians : Information on individuals not in vehicles.
Use these subcategories to locate or analyze specific types of individual data.
10. Traffic Study Modules
The "Traffic Study" module contains tools to analyze traffic patterns. It includes:

AADT Modules : Average Annual Daily Traffic data.

Studies Modules : Detailed traffic studies.
-
Import Modules : Options to upload or convert data.
11. AADT Modules Overview
The AADT (Average Annual Daily Traffic) section is broken into the following modules:

Intersections AADTs : Traffic data for intersections.
-
Road Segments AADTs : Data for specific road segments.
-
MIS AADTs : Managed Information Systems data.
-
Traffic Section AADTs : Section-specific traffic analysis.
Use these modules to analyze traffic volume and flow.
12. Studies Modules Overview
The Studies section allows in-depth traffic analysis and includes:

All Studies : A comprehensive list of traffic studies.

TMC : Turning Movement Counts.
-
Volume : Traffic volume data.
-
Speed : Vehicle speed information.
13. Import Modules
The Import section allows users to upload and manage external data. It includes:

Import Data : Upload external datasets.
-
NuMetric Converter : Convert data to compatible formats.
-
Logs : View and manage data import history.
14. Safety
The Safety section includes the following module:
- Workbooks : Access detailed safety data and reports.
15. Users Modules Overview
The Users section helps manage user access and roles. It includes:

Users : Add or edit user accounts.
-
Roles : Assign and manage user roles.
16. Hiding and Showing the Module Bar
To hide or show the module bar:
-
Click on the hamburger menu icon (three horizontal lines) located at the top of the module column.
-
This will minimize or expand the column as needed.
Use this feature to create more space for the main screen.
17. Minimized Module Column

The module column can be minimized to create more screen space. When minimized, only icons for each module will be visible on the left-hand side. This allows quick navigation without occupying much space.

To minimize or restore the module column, use the hamburger menu icon (three horizontal lines) at the top left of the module column.
